We’re looking back on 2022 at Equinox to celebrate what’s been a stellar year.
In the last 12 months, Equinox has grown its team, market share, client base, and impact. We’re incredibly proud of everything we have achieved in 2022, and next year promises to be just as exciting.
Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of 2022.
Growing the team
More than a quarter of the Equinox team joined the company in 2022.
With new team members in Data Services, IP Services, marketing, sales, and HR, we’ve grown the capability of our services and made some great new pals!
Our team has been working on professional development too. Both Grace and Cally completed their Introductory Patent Administrator’s Course to further improve their IP knowledge. Their roles in Sales & Onboarding mean they’re always looking to understand the IP profession with more depth.
We keep a close-knit team at Equinox, and our regular socials have been a great chance to unwind while building strong professional relationships. We’ve had socials for the Platinum Jubilee, Pride, Yorkshire Day, Christmas, and more— any excuse to have a get-together!
Joining Questel
You’ve probably heard that we joined the Questel family in December! With our new colleagues from across the channel and around the world, our partnership promises to makes Equinox IPMS even more powerful as we move forward.
Joining Questel gives us a fantastic opportunity to develop Equinox IPMS even further. We’ll be integrating with a host of other services from the Questel catalogue, some of which our subscribers may already use, and by sharing expertise we’ll be able to bring in impressive new developments.

Events
We’ve got out and about quite a lot this year. We’ve been to lots of IP events and even held our own event in London.
Our annual User Conference returned as we welcomed our subscribers at our venue in Camden. We demonstrated new system features, spoke about the future of Equinox, and offered direct support to those attendees who had questions about their system. We’ll be back with another User Conference in 2023!
Our team has been around the world for several IP conferences. This year we exhibited at both INTA in Washington and AIPPI in San Francisco— it was fabulous to meet so many people in person and introduce them to Equinox IPMS.
A shiny new look
As you may be able to tell from our slick website, in 2022 we rebranded Equinox with a whole new design. We’ve incorporated colours from our legacy branding and added a host of new designs that communicate our values and our unique approach to IP tech.
We’ve had some great feedback on our rebrand and we think it really helps us stand out in the industry.
Lots of furry friends
If there’s one thing we love at Equinox, it’s our pets. We have a devoted Slack channel to share pictures of our furry friends, and dogs and cats are frequently welcomed to our office.

Developed the platform
Throughout the year we’ve been working hard to make Equinox IPMS even more powerful.
Our Development team is constantly working on upgrades to every system to keep them secure and working to their full potential. However, we also work on large scale improvements and integrations that can extend the platform further.
In April we released version 10 of Equinox IPMS, which made some user interface improvements and allowed configurable custom fields to be added to tasks.
Back in August we integrated Equinox IPMS with Billtrader, an international finance tool that many of our subscribers used already. By integrating Billtrader with our system we simplified the IP management process for our mutual subscribers.
Most recently, we announced that Equinox IPMS was Unitary Patent ready! Now set to come into effect in March 2023, our system can handle relevant cases in the new system and for transitional measures.
A year of achievement
We’re proud of what we have accomplished this year. Not only have we forged relationships with new clients and welcomed new team members, but we’ve also continued to create a supportive, enterprising environment for everyone at Equinox.
In 2023 we’re keen to grow even further and show the IP industry what they can achieve with Equinox IPMS.
