We’re excited to announce our new renewals functionality in Equinox IPMS.
A dedicated renewals section has been added to the Equinox system. It’s designed to make managing and tracking renewals easier and more efficient for our subscribers. It comes with several configuration options to allow Equinox subscribers to customise their setup, helping their system fit perfectly with their organisation’s processes.
Plus, soon Equinox IPMS will integrate with PAVIS, to make the renewals process even more efficient!
Manage your renewals from inside Equinox IPMS
We aim to help our subscribers handle as many of their tasks as possible from their Equinox system. Users can already manage everything from tasks and deadlines to correspondence and finance, but our latest update brings in a suite of renewals functionality to make life even easier for IP professionals.
Renewal due dates
We’ve made it easier to generate and track renewal dates within the system. Our IP Services team monitors the laws for each country to ensure our subscribers’ systems are always up to date.
We’ve included full logging and a history of actions related to each renewal due date, so you know exactly what has been done, who by, and when.
Renewal quotes are automatically linked
Subscribers can see the quotes for upcoming renewals and report these to clients with ease. Quotes can be added manually at any time, or added automatically at a pre-defined time ahead of the due date.
Sending renewal notices
Prompt correspondence is key with renewals. Our subscribers can now define when renewal notices are sent to clients, and the system will generate a task on each case with the renewal notice template attached, ready for sending.
Easily report on renewals
Generating reports is simple in Equinox IPMS, and we’ve included a new category devoted to renewals to help Equinox subscribers keep their clients up to date.
In the Development team, we’re always looking for ways to make Equinox IPMS even more powerful.
When we ‘ve spoken to Equinox subscribers, they asked for a better way to manage renewals from within their system, and our latest update delivers this functionality. The new dedicated renewals tab in Equinox IPMS makes it easier to stay on top of key daily tasks.
This latest functionality also paves the way for us to collaborate with renewals providers. We’re currently working on an integration with PAVIS as part of our ongoing strategy to match Equinox IPMS with a host of other services our subscribers use every day. We hope this will enhance the user’s experience of the system and allow IP professionals to achieve even more with Equinox.

Coming Soon: PAVIS integration
We’ve teamed up with our colleagues at PAVIS to deliver a new integration to our mutual subscribers.
This API-based integration will make the renewals process easier to manage, more efficient, and more reliable. It will provide two-way data transfer, data verification, due date comparison, and full audit logging. Additionally, the integration provides instant transfer of case details, retrieval of cost/quotes information, instruction transfer, receipt retrieval, and more.
Watch this space for more information over the coming weeks!
PAVIS integration seminar
The PAVIS integration will be showcased in a digital seminar from colleagues at Questel in early March.
Sam Thorley, the Equinox Head of Platform, teams up with Questel Subject Matter Expert Torsten Kraus to explore the integration and how it benefits subscribers.
