How the Orbit patent data comparison integration works with Equinox

Import:

• Connects your system with patent case data from official office records.
• When you import a case, it generates a case within your Equinox system.
• Allows you to find and import a single patent.
• Means you can search for and import a patent family.
• Enables you to carry out official office searches by:

  • Field:

    • Application number

    • Publication number

    • Grant number

    • Priority number

    • Title

  • Jurisdiction:

    • All countries 

    • National jurisdiction (e.g., GB)

    • International jurisdiction (e.g., WIPO)

Patent data comparison:

• Once a week, Equinox checks the official office data for all active patent cases in your system.
• It then compares the official office data with the data in your system. 
• Equinox highlights any differences it finds, and also lists which cases have no differences or couldn’t be matched.
• It then gives you the option to import the data suggestions from the office if your data on Equinox is wrong or missing.
